Diego De Ascentis is a new player of Atalanta. The midfielder has signed a biennial contract with orobici, that will expire June 30th, 2009. With De Ascentiis the president Ruggeri has satisfied Gigi del Neri.

De Ascentis, class 1976, has disputed last season with the stitch of Torino, with which it has collected 30 presences. Previous year he had spent a very positive season at Livorno, with which it had disputed 29 matches. Grown in Como, De Ascentis boasts experiences also with the stitches of Bari and Milan (19 presences in the championship 1999-00).
