It's one of the most important and relevant negotiations in this Serie A winter transfer window: winger Aimo Diana is in talks to leave Palermo to rejoin his former coach with Sampdoria, Walter Novellino, at Torino.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini gave a radio interview during which he admitted that the transfer might be completed if Torino president Urbano Cairo accepts his conditions.

"Since the lad isn't getting a lot of playing time with us," he explained, "he might get a transfer to Torino, but only if Cairo buys him and doesn't just want a loan deal."

Concerning the players he does intend to loan out, Zamparini confirmed that goalkeeper Federico Agliardi will be temporarily transferred to another club to allow him more playing time, while striker Stephen Makinwa will not be taken back from Lazio ("He isn't professional enough," the president said about the Nigerian).

Meanwhile, midfielder Fabio Caserta will stay at Palermo as he is considered unsellable by coach Francesco Guidolin.
