Novellino Promises A Gritty And Determined Torino
The new Granata coach wants his team to give all they can next season in order to lead the squad to a better and much more comfortable survival in the Italian topflight.

Walter Novellino is the new Torino coach, and for him this is a return back home, considering that he started his playing career with the Granata when he was a small kid before eventually joining Milan later in his career.
"I return to Torino 37 years after my first arrival as a boy and I'm excited," commented Novellino on his arrival.
Now the former Sampdoria coach is focusing on bringing positive results to Turin, unlike last season where the Granata only managed to avoid the drop to Serie B in the final matchdays.
"I want a courageous, gritty and determined Toro. For this reason I expect players who have the same dedication to work like I do."
Last season he was on the verge of signing for Juventus before the Bianconeri opted for Didier Deschamps. When asked which is better, if a call from Torino or Juventus, a smiling Novellino replied with a: "Definitely Torino."
