Alvaro Recoba will finally have the opportunity of playing more consistently as his move to Torino should be finalized by the end of the day.

This was confirmed by the President of Torino, Urbano Cairo, who sounded confident about the probability of the deal.

"We're working on it", he said. "It has not been sealed yet, but I spoke with my friend Moratti, and we got very close as there is very little left between us.

"In the market I don't want to let myself go to easy enthusiasms, but before there is the signature I don't want to delude the fans.

"In the transfer market you never know, but I can say that I would be surprised if this deal does not go through."

This will be the second time ever that Coach Walter Novellino would have Recoba in his squad, with the first time being during their Venezia days.
