Sereni Joins Toro
The ex-Lazio goalkeeper has finally found a place where he will be guaranteed a starting place following several years as reserve to Peruzzi.

After spending several years on the Lazio substitutes bench, goalkeeper Matteo Sereni has finally found a team where he can play with some regularity. Four years after last being first choice at Brescia, Sereni has found an agreement with Torino, who will guarantee him first-team football.
Following a long period of playing second fiddle to Lazio's Angelo Peruzzi, Sereni will step in for the departed Christian Abbiati, who left Torino for Atletico Madrid.
"We are very happy to have resolved this negotiation successfully", Torino administrator Stefano Antonelli said.
"Also his wage is within this club's possibilities", he continued.
Sereni, 32 years old, has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year.
