Taibi Leaves Torino For Ascoli

Massimo Taibi has officially left Torino through an announcement on his official website.

"From the day 11.07.2007 I am not a Torino FC player anymore and therefore my adventure with the Granata shirt comes to an end.

"Many things have been said, the only certain thing that I want to tell the fans is that from my part I have always and only tried to do the best for the team and for this club, even though the known problems of the last year can make it seem, to someone, the contrary."

Even though it is not yet official, Taibi is expected to sign for Ascoli, who have just been relegated to Serie B in the past season.
