Torino 1 - 3 Lazio

The match at the Olympic stadium saw a frantic finish! Thank you!

Despite the 3-1 home defeat to Lazio, Torino coach Gianni De Biasi was not entirely dissatisfied with his team's performance.

"I think Torino played a great match until the 60th minute, with 5 incredible chances," he said. "We could not have done more. We can only complain about not having scored. Lazio had three shots on goal with two goals and one post.

"Lazio are a cynical team who took all of their chances, while we didn't."

De Biasi was sent off deep into injury time for protesting against the referee after he had made Nicola Amoruso repeat a penalty.

The match at the Olympic stadium saw a frantic finish as goalkeeper Matteo Sereni was sent off ten minutes before the end, and the referee also sent off another Torino player, Francesco Pratali, with a second yellow card a few minutes later. So perhaps it was understandable that the Torino coach felt it was unreasonable to have the penalty repeated.
